If the portal seems frozen, blank, or keeps showing the same page no matter what you tap, try these fixes in order. Most cases are fixed in under a minute.

Step 1: Refresh the page

  • On a phone, pull down at the top of the screen.
  • On a computer, press the refresh button or F5.

Step 2: Close and reopen the app

  • Swipe the app away from your recent apps list.
  • Open it again from your home screen.

Step 3: Restart your phone

A simple restart fixes many problems. Hold the power button until you see the restart option.

Step 4: Clear your browser cache

Old saved files can cause the app to keep showing an old page.

Chrome (Android)

  1. Tap the three-dot menu in Chrome.
  2. Tap SettingsPrivacy and securityClear browsing data.
  3. Tick Cached images and files and Cookies and site data.
  4. Tap Clear data.

Safari (iPhone)

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap Safari.
  3. Tap Clear History and Website Data.
  4. Confirm.

Step 5: Reinstall the portal (if installed as an app)

If you installed the portal on your home screen and it is still stuck:

  1. Press and hold the Cirrus icon on your home screen.
  2. Tap Remove or Uninstall.
  3. Open your browser and sign in to the portal again.
  4. Reinstall using the steps in Installing the portal on your phone.

Reinstalling does not delete your account — your applications, documents, and OES score are all safe in the cloud.

Step 6: Try a different browser

  • On Android, try Firefox or Samsung Internet.
  • On iPhone, try Safari instead of Chrome.

Step 7: Try on a different device

If a friend or family member has a phone or computer you can borrow, sign in there to check whether your account works elsewhere. If it does, the issue is with your device.

Step 8: Contact support

If nothing above worked, please contact us. Include:

  • Your device (model and operating system).
  • Your browser.
  • A screenshot of the stuck page.
  • The last thing you tapped before it got stuck.
