Most tasks update your OES score within a few seconds. If your score does not move, work through these steps.

Step 1: Refresh your home page

Sometimes the score is updated on the server but the page in front of you is showing the old number.

  • Pull down to refresh.
  • Or sign out and sign back in.

Step 2: Check that you really finished the task

  • A document upload earns 20 points only after you tap Save, not just after you choose the file.
  • A course earns points only after you pass the quiz, not just after watching the reels.
  • A profile earns 100 points only when it is 100% complete — check for any missing fields.

Step 3: Wait a few minutes

Some actions are checked in batches. Verified document points (10 extra per document) only appear after a reviewer has looked at it — that can take 1–3 working days.

Step 4: Check the OES page

Your OES page shows a list of every action you have done and the points each one earned. Look there to see if your action is listed.

  • If it is listed, your score is correct — you might just be looking at the wrong screen.
  • If it is not listed, the system did not register the action.

Step 5: Some actions only earn points once

Each main task earns points only the first time:

  • Your first job application earns 50 points. Later applications do not.
  • The Skills Self-Assessment earns points the first time. Retakes update your answers but do not add more points.
  • Each course earns points only when finished for the first time.

Step 6: Refresh — one more time

Score sync sometimes happens on a delay. Wait 15 minutes, then refresh.

Step 7: Contact support

If you are sure you finished a task and the points still are not there:

  • Note the task you finished.
  • Note the time you finished it.
  • Take a screenshot of your OES page.
  • Contact us — see Contacting Cirrus support.

We will check the system logs and add any missing points if there is a glitch.
