How Quizzes and Reels Work
Every course in the Candidate Readiness Kit uses two simple things — reels (short videos) and quizzes (a few questions at the end). Here is how they work and how to get the best out of them.
What is a reel?
A reel is a short video — usually 1–3 minutes long. Most courses have between 5 and 10 reels. They cover one small topic each, so you can finish one whenever you have a few minutes.
How to watch a reel
- Open the Courses page.
- Tap a course.
- Tap the first reel to play it.
- When the reel finishes, the next one starts automatically — or tap Next.
You can pause, rewind, or watch a reel again as many times as you like.
Tip: Use headphones when you can. The audio is clearer and you will catch more details.
How quizzes work
After all the reels in a course, you take a short quiz — usually 5 to 10 questions. Each question has 2 to 4 answer options. Pick the one you think is correct.
- Read the question carefully.
- Tap the answer you think is right.
- Tap Next.
- After the last question, tap Submit.
You will see your score right away.
What if I do not pass the first time?
You can take the quiz again. Look back at the reels for any topics you got wrong, then retry. Most candidates pass on the second try.
Saving your progress
Your progress is saved automatically. You can:
- Stop in the middle of a reel and come back later.
- Watch the same reel again any time.
- Switch courses without losing your spot.
Earning points
You earn OES points when you pass the quiz (not just for watching). The points are added to your score right away, and the course shows as Completed on your Courses page.
Reels are not subtitled in Tagalog (yet)
The reels are in English. If you want to slow them down or replay a part, use the video player controls. If a topic is hard to follow, ask a friend to explain or contact support — see Contacting Cirrus support.
