Common questions about Cirrus, the Candidate Portal, and overseas work.

Is this real?

Yes. Cirrus is a real recruitment company that helps Filipino workers find jobs in Australia, New Zealand, and other countries. We work with employers who have proper visas and contracts.

Is it free for me?

Yes. Using the portal is free for candidates. There is no fee to apply for a job, take a course, or use any tool. You may pay for some things on your own — for example, your passport, NBI Clearance, and medical exam — but these are not paid to Cirrus.

Will I be charged a "placement fee"?

No. If anyone — even someone claiming to be from Cirrus — asks you for a placement fee, stop and contact us. See Contacting Cirrus support.

Who can apply?

Any Filipino worker can create an account. Different jobs have different requirements (skills, experience, English level, age, sometimes gender for certain jobs). The portal will tell you which jobs you qualify for.

How long does it take to get an overseas job?

It varies a lot. Some candidates get their first interview within weeks. The full process from "apply" to "fly" is usually 3 to 9 months because of visa and document checks. Be patient — it is worth it.

What countries can I work in?

Today the portal mostly lists jobs in Australia and New Zealand. Other countries may be added over time.

What jobs are available?

A wide range — trades (carpenters, welders, electricians), drivers, hospitality, healthcare, agriculture, and more. Open the Applications page and tap Browse jobs to see what is open right now.

Will I have to pay anything along the way?

You will need to pay for some things yourself — typical costs include:

  • Passport application or renewal.
  • NBI Clearance.
  • Medical exam (refunded by some employers).
  • Pocket money for the flight and first week.

Cirrus does not charge you, and proper employers do not charge a placement fee. Visa fees are usually paid by the employer.

What about my data and privacy?

Your data is stored securely. Only Cirrus staff and the employers you apply to can see your details. You can ask for your data to be deleted at any time.

Can I have more than one account?

No. One person, one account. If you have signed up twice by mistake, contact support to merge them.

Can I cancel an application?

Yes. Open the application and tap Withdraw. You can apply to other jobs at any time.
