What to Do If You Spot a Bug
A "bug" is something in the portal that does not work the way it should — a button that does nothing, a page that does not load, a number that looks wrong. Telling us helps us fix it for you and every other candidate.
How to report a bug
- Take a screenshot of what you see (most phones: hold the power and volume down buttons together).
- Note the page you were on (for example, Documents, Tools).
- Note what you were trying to do (for example, "I tried to upload my passport").
- Note what happened instead (for example, "The button greyed out and nothing happened").
- Open the Help Center chat or email support — see Contacting Cirrus support.
- Send the screenshot and your notes.
Small details that help us a lot
- The make and model of your phone (for example, iPhone 12, Samsung A52).
- The browser you used (Chrome, Safari, Firefox).
- The time you noticed the problem.
- Whether the same problem happens every time or only sometimes.
What happens after you report
- We will reply to confirm we got your report.
- Our team will investigate and try to reproduce the issue.
- If the bug is real, we will fix it in a future update.
- If it is not really a bug (for example, a feature you did not know about), we will explain.
Things to try before reporting
- Refresh the page (pull down on mobile, or tap refresh).
- Sign out and sign back in.
- Try another browser (Chrome on Android, Safari on iPhone).
- Check your internet — try opening another website.
If the problem still happens after these steps, please report it.
Tip: Even small bugs are worth reporting. They might be affecting other candidates too.
Thank you
We rely on candidates like you to spot the things our team cannot see. Every bug report makes the portal better — thank you for helping us improve.
