Tracking Your Job Applications

Once you apply to a job, you can follow exactly what is happening with it from the My Applications page. This article explains how to find your applications and what each piece of information means.

How to find your applications
  1. Sign in to the portal.
  2. Tap My Applications in the Home page.
  3. You will see a list of every job you have applied to.
What each application card shows

For every application you will see:

  • Job title and date applied.
  • Current stage — for example, "Qualifying" or "Selection". See The 6 stages of your application explained.
  • Status — usually Active (still moving forward) or Inactive (closed for now).
  • Last update — when something changed last.
Active vs Inactive
  • Active — Your application is live. The employer is still considering you, or you are waiting on a step.
  • Inactive — Your application has been paused or closed. This can happen if the job has been filled, or if you did not meet a requirement. You can sometimes reapply later if a similar job opens.
Tips for keeping track

Tip: Open your Applications page at least every 2–3 days. If something needs your attention, you will see it here first.

  • Set up notifications so you do not miss updates — install the portal on your phone (see Installing the portal on your phone).
  • If a stage has not moved for a long time, check for any new messages or open tasks.
  • Make sure your contact details are correct so the employer can reach you.
