Driver's License
A valid Philippine Driver's License is required for many overseas jobs — especially driving, delivery, and some trade jobs in Australia and New Zealand.
What you need
- A current LTO Driver's License (Non-Professional or Professional).
- The licence must not be expired.
- For some jobs, a Restriction Code for trucks or heavy vehicles is required.
How to upload it
- Open the Documents page.
- Tap Driver's License.
- Tap Upload and choose a clear photo or scan of the front of the licence.
- Make sure your name, licence number, restriction codes, and expiry date are easy to read.
- Tap Save.
You may also be asked to upload the back of the licence — the card will tell you if so.
Tip: Place the licence flat on a dark table. Avoid using flash — it can cover text with bright spots.
Why it might be rejected
- The licence is expired.
- Restriction codes are not visible.
- The photo is too dark or blurry.
- The wrong document was uploaded (for example, a Student Permit instead of a Driver's License).
Will my Philippine licence work overseas?
Some countries let you drive on a Philippine licence for a short time. After that, you usually need to convert to the local licence — for example, an Australian state licence. Your employer or our Driving in Australia course will help you understand the rules in your destination country.
