The Tools page is where you find smart, free helpers that make your job hunt easier — from interview practice to building a budget for life abroad.

What is on the Tools page

- Cover Letter Generator — create a personal cover letter for any job in minutes.
- Salary & Cost of Living Calculator — see how much you would earn (and have left over) in Australia compared to the Philippines.
- Work Videos — record short videos that show employers what you can do.
- Skills Self-Assessment — rate your skills and earn OES points.
You can use these tools as many times as you want. They are free for candidates.
How to open a tool
- Sign in to the portal.
- Tap Tools in the menu.
- Tap the tool you want to try.
Which tool should I use first?
- Brand new? Start with the Skills Self-Assessment — it is quick and earns you 50 points.
- Job interview coming up? Use the AI Interview Simulator to rehearse.
- Wondering if a salary is enough? Try the Salary & Cost of Living Calculator.
- Want to stand out? Record a Work Video showing your skills.
- Applying to a job? Use the Cover Letter Generator before you submit.
How tools earn you points
Tip: Doing all four high-value tools — Skills Assessment, Aria, Cyrus, and a Work Video — adds 350 points to your OES. That is enough to jump from Starter to Go-Getter rank.
Tools you may unlock later
Some tools (like AI Interview Screening) only become available once you have done the basics. Keep your profile and documents up to date and they will unlock automatically.
