Tips for international interviews
- Time zones — confirm the interview time in your local time and the employer's local time.
- Internet — use the strongest connection you have. A wired connection is best.
- Background — sit in a quiet place with a clean background. Avoid your bedroom if possible.
- Light — face a window or a lamp. Do not have a bright light behind you.
- Listen — if you do not catch a question, it is okay to say, "Could you please repeat that?"
Tip: Practise once with the AI Interview Simulator before any real international interview. It listens to your answers and gives you a CEFR English level.
